How is parking in the area?
Parking is usually very easy in our neighborhood! We have seven spaces at our Utah Street address for you use as you see fit. There is a Diamond Parking lot 1/2 block down from us that offers all-day secured parking. Outside of Seahawks game days, street parking is ample on the weekends and after 5pm. Let your guests know that they can park anywhere on Utah St. except in front of a garage door after 5pm or all day on the weekends. The No Parking signs are only enforced Monday-Friday from 9-5pm by the businesses themselves.

To be honest, outside of Seahawks game days, street parking is ample on the weekends and after 5pm. You can also let your guests know that they can park anywhere on Utah St. except in front of a garage door after 5pm or all day on the weekends. The No Parking signs are only enforced Monday-Friday from 9-5pm by the businesses themselves. That being said, we do not take responsibility if your car gets ticketed or towed if improperly parked!
Do you offer any furniture with the rental of WithinSodo?
We have light seating on The Rooftop Deck, in the wedding suites, and in The Parlor.
Tables, chairs, and any furniture will be up to you to rent separately by your preferred vendor or check out some of our favorite vendors.

Do you work with any specific or preferred caterers or other vendors?
While we exclusively provide alcohol and all bar services, there are no restrictions on any other vendors as long as they are properly licensed and insured.

Four-burner gas cooktop, oven, and hood
Three sinks (one triple-basin)

* all other kitchen instruments, cookware, and dining ware need to be provided by the client or caterer.

Can I bring in my own food?
Yes, but all food must be prepared by an establishment with a catering license and/or a restaurant license. All caterers must have a catering license and be insured. All food handlers/servers must have their Food Handler’s Permit. All licenses & permits must be presented no later than 1-week prior to the event. WithinSodo provides all bar services.

What are the rules for decorations?
You may use fasteners (fine gauge nails usually - prefer 16-gauge and lighter) in our raw surfaces like the grout between the bricks and unfinished wood paneling. Only temporary fixtures like command strips or painter’s tape are allowed on the finished surfaces.
We have a 13' ladder onsite for you to use, but do be sure to bring your own tool kit and gaffers tape, please! One other bonus: if you forget something of that nature, Home Depot is right up the block :)
Potentially damaging fasteners (e.g. heavy gauge nails, staples, or screws) may not be used to hang signs or other materials on walls, ceiling, or doors.

All candles must be in containers that will catch wax and used with safety in mind.
