updated on March 11th, 2022
It will take a team effort to ensure that your event is safe and healthy. We require that all staff, vendors, and guests follow these COVID-19 organization-specific safety practices to comply with local, state, and federal mandates. We will continue to update this page as new information becomes available!
for Events occurring after March 11th:
Proof of vaccination or a negative test will no longer be required and masks are optional.
We encourage you to stay informed of best practices and have provided additional resources below. WithinSodo is committed to continuing the high standards we implemented during the pandemic to ensure everyone's wellbeing.
WithinSodo’s enhanced efforts & safety protocols:
We feel good ventilation (no circulation or re-circulation) is the biggest key in mitigating exposure. To that end we have:
Updated most windows to open
Installed commercial air movers & fans in all windows to ventilate as much air as possible in the smallest amount of time as possible
We have updated our HVAC system with CDC-recommended MERV13 filters for when heating is necessary and the fan option can pump in fresh air from outside continuously. We have no AC.
Installed hands-free soap & paper towel dispensers in the bathrooms and hands-free sanitizer dispensers in each event space.
Installed proper signage at entrances / exits / restrooms.
The entire building will have been professionally cleaned and sanitized prior to your arrival onsite.
WithinSodo staff will continue to disinfect all high touch surfaces (bar stations, doorknobs, handrails & restrooms) hourly during your event.
All WithinSodo employees are vaccinated and happy to wear masks at the request of the event host. All have easy access to hand-washing stations and hand sanitizer.
Employees are encouraged to leave their workstations to wash their hands regularly and required to do so before and after going to the bathroom, before and after eating, and after coughing, sneezing, or blowing their nose.
Any employee that shows or reports any symptoms of COVID-19 will be asked to leave the premises immediately. Any possibly exposed clients will be notified immediately, and the employee's workspace will be disinfected. All employees will be tested, and if that employee or any other employee tests positive for COVID-19, we will shut down the premise until the premise is disinfected and all employees who worked with that employee recently are tested and confirmed negative for COVID-19. We will re-open the premise as soon as possible as long as we can employ employees that have not worked with the positive-tested employee and / or have tested negative for COVID-19 after doing so.

While the State of Washington and King County no longer have mandates in effect after March 11th, 2022. We have seen many changes over the last couple of years - if mandates are imposed at a future date we will take whatever steps are necessary on our end to secure your & your guest’s safety. We are happy to work with you to make sure your celebration is a success, but as a business, we will be bound by law to follow the guidelines from our state and county.
If you are curious about protocols for events occurring before March 11th:
